Why we built Kumay
BOMA Desarrollos was born from an uncomfortable question: why do real estate projects in Mexico run late, with incomplete paperwork and no transparency? The answer was Kumay: a development where permits come first, a bank trust protects every peso from day one, and construction progress can be verified without having to take anyone’s word for it.
162 families have already chosen Kumay. Not because we convinced them, but because they saw the construction, reviewed the documents and made their own decision.
BOMA Desarrollos is a 100% Mexican company that has been developing residential real estate in the Mérida metropolitan area, Yucatán, Mexico, since 2017. Its most ambitious project is Kumay, a Wellness & Nature development in Hunucmá, 15 min · 13 km from Mérida’s western ring road (periférico), with 400 residential lots from 125 m² (1,350 sq ft), 100% underground infrastructure, a bank trust, and approved INAH clearance, land use permit and CFE electrical feasibility.
Kumay is being developed in two active residential phases: CARAO (173 lots, 79% sold, delivery Jun. 2027) and CUZAM (225 lots, pre-sale pricing, delivery Aug. 2031), plus Residential Macro-lots and a Commercial Zone. Direct developer financing from 10% down and monthly payments from $2,500 MXN. No bank, no credit bureau.
